This family-owned Boutique Winery is recognized for its award-winning wines and spectacular vineyard located in Madison County, VA in a Majestic BlueRidge Mountain situated just minutes from hiking trails Old Rag and White Oak Canyon.

Owned and operated by Scott and Karen Elliff, the remarkable wines andidyllic vineyards express a loving kinship with the Bordeaux region of France.

The winery produces numerous classics such as Petit Verdot, Viognier,Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Norton and Merlot.

Their 2023 Cabernet Franc Reserve was part of the 2025 Virginia Governor’s Case and the 2024 Rose was recently recognized by VinePair as one of the 30 Best Rosés of 2025.

The winery is also known for several superb red and white blends such as the Popham Run Red and Gibson Hollow White.  Wines Shenandoah and Black Bear reflect their commitment to the Shenandoah National Park Trust with a donation made from bottles sales of these wines.

DuCard Vineyards has an attractive and stylish tasting room and frequentlyhosts events and live music in their recently added pavilion or on its large stone patio overlooking the impressive vineyards.

The tasting room is open through all four seasons – open daily!
